Website design and development costs can vary a lot depending upon your specific requirements.

Our prices are very reasonable and realistic. We charge an hourly rate or a per project price depending upon the project.  The prices reflect the time it takes to complete a project and in some cases the price of third party software. Often a per project rate works out to clients' advantage.

 

 What to Expect

 

Below you will find a general outline of what to expect in terms of rates and time frame to completion. These are estimates; please bear in mind that the price depends upon the specifics of your project.

 

 

 

 

One Page Business Info Website

As businesses begin to realize that they need an internet presence, we encounter clients who require the most basic website - the One Page website to place contact information as well as a summary of their services.

$200 - $350

 

The total price for a website is not always proportionate to the pages required. Even a single page website requires a few hours of website design, graphic design and content insertion. Therefore whether the client ends up with 100 pages or less, developing the design takes the same amount of time.

 

 

4-5 Page Website with Contact Form

This is a basic website with four or five pages such as home page, services, about us etc. A contact form is included. Client provides the required content. Basic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is included in all our html/xhtml websites.

10 Page Website with Contact Form

The 10 page website usually includes pages such as home, about us, the other pages perhaps display photographs of products and a summary of services. You could also include testimonial details from previous customers. Basic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is included in all our html/xhtml websites.

Blogs

A blog is just as time consuming to design as a 10 page website. We can install and customize WordPress, bBlog, phpBB and more.

Basic Ecommerce Website with 10 - 12 pages

Perhaps you require an ecommerce website but you only need to sell a single item or very small number of items online using Paypal or a similar payment processing service? Or perhaps you need to take variable payments online for services you provide?

Full Ecommerce Website with Admin Area

We can Design a full Ecommerce site with shopping cart setup to to take online credit card payments. This can include a user friendly website administration area that will allow you to input your own stock, change prices, etc. The admin area is accessible online via a user ID and password.

The price for a full ecommerce Website varies depending upon the graphics required. Some clients require a masthead for each main page (Home, Products, Contact Us, About Us, Shipping Information, Login etc), some require stock photography with text on them. Therefore, depending upon your needs the price varies. However most sites come in between $1200 - $1800.

Content Management System (CMS)

If required we can install a simple website content management system (CMS) to select pages on your website. You can then make your own website updates and change your website content on a daily basis if necessary. A simple CMS is $180/page.

Full Content Management System (CMS)

A full CMS will allow you to add menus, links, images and new pages when and as you require. As with anything new, there is a learning curve. However we also offer tutorials with screenshots for clients.

Note: Content management systems (CMS) are not without their problems. Sometimes users have problems using the CMS and have to ask us to sort things out for them. This of course means that it can get expensive. See the alternative to CMS below.

Website Updates and Modification Rates

Lots of people don't want the hassle of website content management and if you are one of these we can make changes to your site upon request. We charge $50/hour, however minor text changes can cost you as little as $20. If the changes are very minor we may not even charge you for this or just add them to your next bill. If you need more extensive changes we will give you an estimate and you may decide whether to proceed.

 

Factors that will affect the price of your website

Design work: Design work, be it for your entire website or a small advertisment, it is probably the most time consuming part of developing a website. If you require a lot of of original graphic design work please bear in mind that you will be charged accordingly. We always let you know beforehand how much it may cost you.

The examples and prices listed above are a good estimate only. Website work varies tremendously between each client, therefore it is not possible to list every instance of website design and development.

However as you can see, our prices are reasonable and we are always willing to work with you to provide you the website development that you need.
